The first post of this blog was published on July 13th, a bit more than a month ago. This one is my number 16 post. It means that I post about every 3 days. Which is pretty often, I'd say.
Originally, my plan was to follow my drawing development, share sketches and ideas. I also wanted to share here some of my other interests - movies, traveling, photography, other crafts and much more.
But at this point I find myself feeling really happy when I just publish something. Anything. This feeling that I have when I write and then hit "publish" makes me really excited. This post, for example, was never planned. It was inspired by the book entirely. An that makes me add another item to my scanners list: do a writing course, learn to write and express yourself properly.
Which I'll do, eventually.
P.S. 151 items at this point.

My Scanner's list
I am 36 years old and I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I like many things but I get bored pretty fast. I like short projects that are finished after two or three weeks. I usually switch jobs every 3 to 4 years. So if you take all that in consideration - then I am a canner. Yes, I, like many othes, read the book.
And at this point my Scanners list is the best thing that this book gave me. You write down your ideas, you clear your head out of the constant idea buzzing and then, if you want to, you come back to this list and do something about it.
Or not.
Bu the real best thing aboout it is that you write it down and it's there. It's just there, it won't go anywhere, you won't forget about it and when the item is relevant - it's already on your list.
There's also a Scanner's diary, but that is, I think, will be a next level for me.
And what kind of list do you have? How do you work with it?
P.S. At this point my list has 146 items. And it's only August....

Reading and listening to Barbara Sher.
I think that only a lazy person didn't write about Barbara Sher in the past, what, 20 or more years. And since her books where translated into Russian lately, Russian bloggers are rightfully drooling all over her books and screaming her name wherever is possible. I, myself, discovered her via Natalie Ratkovski LiveJournal and I'm thankful for that. Natalie is the illustrator who created covers of Sher's translated books.
So since it was Barbara Sher's birthday several days ago, I came upon this TED talk she made some time ago and I just felt like posting it here.
So thank you, Barbara, for inspiring millions of people all around the globe, thank you for making our life a little bit easier and happy birthday!
