"You can draw in 30 days" - done!

I've just finished the last lesson of the book! Well, almost finished, just like the first time. I actually skipped all the face drawing part - the last 2 or 3 lessons. I'm just not into it at the moment. But otherwise - done!

You can draw in 30 days, part two

As you remember I recently started going through a "You can draw in 30 days" book again and I've just finished lesson 12. It goes really really well, and I enjoy every moment of the book. But my favorite lesson by far is lesson number 7. It's about drawing cubes and creating an architectural structure out of it.

And it is weird to me because I've never been into architecture really. I mean, I can obviously admire a beautiful and well structured building or a bridge but I've never really wanted to be a part of this mastery. So in a way I am surprised that I enjoyed creating and drawing this house so much. It is far from being perfect and I'm not sure I would want to leave in such a house but I loved drawing it.

"You can draw in 30 days", Aug 2016

A while ago I found this book called "You can draw in 30 days" by Mark Kistler.
It's a collection of drawing lesson dealing with subjects such as basic drawing, perspective, shading etc.

While I cannot really say that one would learn to draw in 30 days, this book is actually really nice to work with. I've done the program twice already and after that time I've decided to go over it every six months.

Now it is time to start another round. The goal is to draw every single day for 30 minutes and perfect my skills. I will be intentionally working with 8B pencil and posting my results here and on my LJ page.

These are lessons 1+2.
